Handling cross-team feedback loops on design workManaging feedback loops between design and product teams can be challenging, especially when working remotely. Nicole experimented with making her weekly design critique session into an optional daily session to involve team members earlier and more often. This improved flexibility, shortened feedback loops, and increased shared understanding. However, scaling the daily sessions and scheduling issues remain challenges. Nicole realized self-discipline in seeking feedback and experimenting with team processes are key to avoid falling into the siloing trap. The experiment helped improve things but did not solve all problems, as navigating team dynamics is part of the job.
