Kendra Curtis is an engineering leader and entrepreneur with 20+ yrs of experience in all levels of the software stack, from early days writing firmware for wireless networking products at Wi-LAN, to managing teams of developers building Web Applications at Google. Kendra spent close to a decade at Google, where she worked on Google's early data centers, the integration of DoubleClick (DCLK), and the original version of Google Wallet. She went on to be the CEO and a co-founder of Scout It Out, a listing service for rehearsal spaces. At Cockroach Labs, she was the Director of Engineering responsible for building a SRE and Front End Web development teams to create and launch their cloud offering of Cockroach DB. She is currently on sabbatical where she is using her passion for building (people, products, …) to renovate a house.
